The Great White

This comes from the on going pun of people saying I look like a polar bear, and the fact that I have a white fur vest that I wear in the winter.

Hot Grill on Grill Action

Ode to Fourth of July, I drew this back in 04' so uh speed ahead four years and its still funny. The inspiration for this came from one of my favorite comics Foxtrot, the dad would always empty about two bottles of lighter fluid into the grill then light it. Now of course that was a charcoal grill, so I added the gas grill for extra comedic humor.

Viking Women

I first drew this as something I wanted to translate into Swedish to be my first international comic, but as I started to translate I realized I only knew Swedish words not phrases. I kept it in English, knowing that someday I would translate it into Swedish for internal funny... today is not that some day.

Porkey's

This was another Sunday challenge from my brother, and one of my friends. The pig idea came from my brother the shirt came from my friend. I think some of my newer comics have more of a dialog and and plot development for telling a story, with the same wittiness of the short and simple comics.

Doctor What?

This has long been an inspired idea for a strip, but I have never been able to figure out how to do it tastefully and not as tacky as it could be.

Aw Pants

The idea behind this one came from a friend of mine who was eating and spilled his food all over him. I swear he said "Aw pants" but he claims he never did.

Dog Whipped

This idea I had from how dogs can always smell if you have even been near another dog.

Scourge of the Dictionary

I drew this around Halloween if you couldn't tell by the storyline. I have always like that there was an English book called the Thesaurus, it always sounded like it should have been some kind of dinosaur, thus this comic is spawned. Allison gets bugged about this one because she says there should be a coma in the "the thesaurus, scourge of the Jurassic period." part. "I say dang it Jim, I'm a fashion designer not an English major." Allison likes to go by the name Jim.

The Good, The Bad, and The Right

This is another of the oldies pulled out for amusement. The devil and angel gag has always intrigued me so I figured I would dabble and do one up, this is the result.

Combo

This is an old one that I did quite a while ago, but still makes me laugh... This may sound like a lame pick up line, but how do you think I got together with Allison.

White Men Can't Jump

So this idea comes from a scene in the movie called White Men Can't Jump. In the scene its the middle of the night and a couple is laying in bed and the woman remarks how she is thirsty and the male goes and gets her a glass of water; she then replies she doesn't want a glass of water she wants to talk about how she is thirsty, if she wanted a glass of water she could have gotten it herself. This shows that men just want to fix things while women just want to talk about how it makes them feel.

Apetizers, Main Course and Murder

So this came from me reading a barrel of detective novels recently. I think I pretty much nailed how to draw Allison in this one, so that is good. For a more riveting read, while reading the part for the "Detective" read it in a 1950's PI voice or 1930's gangster voice.

Phone Phun

This idea came to me while thinking about how my brother would call people pretending to be a radio host. This is a more dumbed down version of that, maybe I'll do another comic about that some time. The area code that appears on the phone book is for downtown Philadelphia.

Points

The idea behind this one comes from the imaginary points given to a guy by his woman, when he's done a good deed. The meal on the table is a cornish game hen; Ive always wanted to make and eat one.(Allison and I just recently bought two cornish game hens and planning to eat them sometime... we didn't just buy them to look at.)

Hey Hey were the Monkees

This comic idea came from a challenge actually, I was bored in church today so I sent out a text to a small number people and came back with a challenge from my bother C.R. to draw something about a monkey, so here it is. Enjoy... There will be more I swear.

More Comics

Okay so I will admit that I have been slacking off and not putting enough effort into putting a comic a day on here. The people have spoken and there will be action. I spent some time today uploading about 23 or more new comics onto my computer, meaning there will be more new comics.
